Description
The drive shaft suspension rubber is a critical component in Mercedes-Benz’s rear-wheel and all-wheel drive systems, where the drive shaft is split into two or more sections. This rubber mount surrounds the center support bearing and is bolted to the underbody of the car. Its primary role is to provide a “flexible anchor” that allows the drive shaft to rotate freely while soaking up the torsional stress and vertical movement caused by acceleration and gear shifts.
